J-START has carried out compliance studies within the scope of the Law, fulfilled its obligations arising from the Law and related regulations, and established personal data security policies and procedures.
J-START obtains commitments from all personnel who have access to user and visitor information, stating that they will not disclose such information to third parties, will not use it for purposes other than their job responsibilities, and that this obligation will continue even after the termination of their employment.
Access to electronic environments where information is stored, as well as all actions and transaction logs performed on the data, are securely logged, and necessary security tests are conducted or commissioned on a regular basis. For physical environments where information is stored, adequate security measures are taken in line with the nature of the environment, physical security is ensured, and unauthorized access is prevented.
In cases where, due to its activities, personal data of Data Subjects must be transferred to third parties or institutions, J-START signs confidentiality and data security undertakings with the relevant parties, and data transfers are carried out through secure methods.
With respect to service providers from whom it receives support services, J-START exercises due care to work with suppliers that implement sufficient administrative and technical measures to ensure data security.
Despite all these measures, in the event of loss, misuse, alteration of information, or unauthorized access to information, J-START informs the Data Subject and the Personal Data Protection Authority/Board in accordance with applicable legislation.
