J-Start is an accelerator and investment fund that invests in early-stage technology startups and aims to scale them in the global market. J-Start operates with principles of speed, innovation, and transparency throughout the investment process.

  • Evaluation – Applications are assessed in terms of technology, business model, and team.

  • Meetings & Due Diligence – Meetings are held with shortlisted startups, followed by a detailed financial and operational due diligence process.

  • Offer – An investment offer (term sheet) is presented to successful startups.

  • Investment & Collaboration – Once the term sheet is accepted, the investment is made and the mentorship and growth plan are implemented together.

  • Regular reporting: JStart provides investors with periodic updates on portfolio performance and the status of startups.

  • Exit strategy: Potential exit scenarios for investments (acquisition, IPO, etc.) are evaluated.

  • Long-term collaboration: Relationships with investors are built not only around wealth management, but also with a focus on building a sustainable ecosystem.

J-Start may or may not charge a participation or program fee for startups; this depends on the program terms and the investment offer. (This section should be clarified based on JStart’s business model.)
